Dan Painting

While Dan is best known for his inspiring music, he is also an accomplished artist.  Over the years his paintings have graced the covers of many of his recordings.

As a young man, Dan studied art for seven years with Sr. Thomasita Fessler, a nationally acclaimed painter, sculptor, instructor and chairman of the Art Department at Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  While in high school, one of Dan's works was featured in an exhibit at the 1964 New York World's Fair.

Dan's paintings capture some of the same soulful spirit that one finds in his music.  These are works of light and hope, with rich color and engaging form.

These are some of the works that Dan has painted.  They are all one-of-a-kind, original works, not giclée reproductions.  Each is signed and dated by the artist.  For more information or to purchase, send an email to dan@danschutte.com.
